Sat May 19th - Harpenden 1st Baby Show - Harpenden Public Halls A fantastic day out for for families and expectant mums. Over 45 local companies are holding stalls, all pregnancy, baby, toddler and child related! Soft Play, Face Painting, Competitions, Soccer, Music, Craft and more for the Children. 10am- 4pm. Tickets £5 in advance £6 on the day. One ticket per family. Tickets available from Baby Years, 10 Leyton Road, Harpenden.

Sun 20th May - Children's Book Festival - Luton Hoo Walled Garden Welcome to the first Luton Hoo Walled Garden Children's Book Festival. The first literary festival especially for families and young people in Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire. We aim to provide a day of fun, frolics and all things bookish for the whole family. Set in the magical Walled Gardens at Luton Hoo and themed to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Frances Hodgson Burnett's book The Secret Garden. Sat 26th May - Hungarian weekend school open day and fair - The Marlborough Science Academy - St Albans A Hungarian weekend school for children 0-8 is to open in St Albans in September 2012. The location is The Marlborough Science Academy, St Albans. The introductory trial day is on 26 May 2012 between 1-4 pm. This day we are also having a fair offering authentic Hungarian food and handmade folk products. Available classes from September: 0-3 years: baby-mummy club with lots of music and games, 3-5 years; nursery classes with puppet shows and games and other classes for older children and adults . Sun 3rd June – This is a That – Trestle Arts Base In an apartment in Paris where nothing is quite as it seems, join Josette and her papa as they dance with their ears, eat a piece of the moon, and meet a toy soldier called Jacqueline.
