Naming Ceremonies

Naming Ceremonies are becoming more and more popular and are a great alternative to a Christening if you and your partner and not religious. They are a wonderful way of celebrating the arrival of your baby and welcoming them into the family.They provide an opportunity to officially name your child as well as show your commitment to them.

Instead of having god parents you choose family or friends to be supporting adults, and during the ceremony they will make pledges to your child to guide them through their life. The naming ceremony can be customised by choosing different wording for the commitments and you can also add readings and poems.

The ceremony can take place at the registry office or at different venues such as local hotels, where you can hold an after ceremony celebration!
