The Museum of St Albans tells the story of St Albans from the departure of the Romans to the present day.

Wildlife Garden - Linger in the compact garden laid out to provide a rich and varied habitat for a wide range of animals and plants. There is a small children's trail around the garden.

Opening Hours - Monday - Saturday 10.00am - 5.00pm, Sunday 2.00 - 5.00pm

Open all year, except between Christmas and New Year - please check with the museum for details.

Fantastic free place for kids & adults just the other side of Harpenden so within eay reach and it's completely Free!. Wonderful outdoor play area for kids of all ages, and beautiful gardens to explore. Large indoor museum as well, fantastic if the weather is changeable. Also has baby changing and a restaurant/cafe onsite.
